Heartbreak Hill is the gateway to the trails in upper Rawhiti and Ohiwa Forest.

It was an old forestry road that has now been reclaimed. It is nice and wide with a reasonable gradient at the start. It flattens out further up however, and the trails it leads into are well worth the effort.
