Splitting into two groups, we headed up A-Trail and Tickler before stopping at the map board to make a plan
The plan was to head down Bunny Jugs, then up the road to the top of Billy-T. With both Warwick and I riding sans gears, it was time to rest and refuel
Even if some people were keen to keep going!
But the downhill was worth the wait, as Billy-T always is. Next on the list was...
And with such a clear day the view was amazing!
After Split Enz was Pondy DH and Pondy New, Rollercoaster, B Rude Not 2 and the Exit Trail. By which time we'd been on our bikes for around 4 hours and feeling rather stuffed! We met with the other group who had been through A-Trail, Tickler, Bunny Jugs, Old Chevy, Sweet & Sour, Dragons Tail and the Exit Trail. All this riding made for a lot of tall tales over BBQ and beers
How good was my day? You decide!
